Our Breast Care Coordinators and multi-disciplinary program at the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute (FHCI) provide you with the expertise and knowledge to ease your treatment process and provide you with a customized plan of care.
Breast cancer patients have two distinct options for care at the FHCI. Our Breast Care Coordinators are available to provide you with care navigation or connect you to our Multidisciplinary Clinic (MDC). This clinic allows patient access to the expertise of breast surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, and additional cancer care resources in one appointment at one convenient location.
Patients will have the benefit of having their case reviewed in a Multidisciplinary Tumor Conference. In this setting physicians specialists collaborate; drawing on each others expertise to review and develop a plan of treatment. This interdisciplinary approach offers comprehensive, coordinated care for even the most complex cases.
