FRI Named Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by American College of Radiology
Printer-friendly versionFlorida Radiology Imaging (FRi) Princeton, one of 10 Florida Hospital and FRi mammography centers in Central Florida, has been designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
This accreditation represents that FRi Princeton is recognized as a provider of higher practice standards in image quality, personnel qualifications, facility equipment, quality control procedures, and quality assurance programs, when compared to other breast imaging centers in the area. There are only four other centers with this designation in all Central Florida and only 56 in all the state of Florida.
"We are honored to receive this recognition by the ACR. The Breast Center of Excellence accreditation really sets FRi Princeton apart from other providers. Patients should know that this signifies that our Center provides the highest standards for comprehensive breast imaging, from mammography services to stereotactic biopsies,"said Elise MacCarroll-Wright, Director of Outpatient Imaging for FRi Princeton. "In addition, this recognition enhances our already high patient satisfaction by providing higher-quality imaging services to the patients and physicians."
